Specifications

Measuring BP from both radial and ulnar arteries may result in overestimation due to the different depths of the arteries.

H2-BP measures BP from a single stable signal of the radial artery only.

The smallest medical bp monitor in the world
Wristband blood pressure monitor

H2-BP measures BP from a single stable signal of the radial artery only.

  • Measuring blood pressure by compressing the radial artery only.
  • The radial artery is located directly over the radial bone.
  • Blood pressure can be measured even with a small amount of pressure applied to block the radial artery.

Reliable with stable signal

  • Only a single stable signal is detected from the radial artery.
  • Disruptive signals from the ulnar artery are eliminated.
  • H2-BP has been approved as a medical-grade device based on clinical studies conducted at a university hospital, demonstrating a tolerance within a margin of ±5 mmHg.

Comfortable and user friendly

  • While measuring BP, the ulnar artery is not blocked, therefore the blood circulation continues.

How to use

1. Cuff Setting

Height adjustment

  • Insert the adjusting pin into the band's side hole as shown in the image below.
  • Push or pull the adjusting pin to adjust the length to fit cuff positions A to D.

Cuff position adjustment

  • Slowly move the cuff fixing pin up and down with your thumb and index finger to adjust the cuff position from  to

2. Wearing

  • Position the cuff above the protruding area of the radial bone where the pulse is felt most strongly
  • Make sure to wear it properly over the radial artery.
  • The cuff should fit tightly at the wrist for accurate measurements.

3. Measuring Blood Pressure

  • Put on the H2-BP and naturally clench your fist, raising it to heart level.
  • Press the Start button (Button 1) and turn your wrist so that your thumb is visible. The measurement will begin after a vibration.

4. Correct Measuring Posture

If the position of the blood pressure monitor is different from the height of the heart, the weight of the blood itself can affect the blood pressure results.

When the wrist position is higher than the heart, the blood pressure reading will likely be lower, and conversely, when the wrist position is lower than the heart, the reading will likely be higher. (A change of approximately 8 mmHg occurs for every 10 cm difference.)

However, blood pressure readings can also be influenced by the measuring position, so they may not change exactly as indicated.

Please refer to the correct measuring posture: lightly clench your fist and do not apply pressure to your hand."
